Tank Types

Choosing the Right Oil Tank

In some locations a bunded tank is recommended or required.
In others, a single skin tank may be suitable.
The tank type depends on factors such as tank location, surrounding area, access and the conditions on site.
Typical guide distances:
  • within 10 metres of water or drainage
  • within 50 metres of a drinking water source
Suitable where:
  • installation position meets safety distances
  • lower cost option is preferred
  • base is stable and level
Typical sizes supplied:
  • 650 litre oil tank
  • 1000 litre oil tank
  • 1200 litre oil tank
  • 1350 litre oil tank
  • 1400 litre oil tank
  • 2000 litre oil tank
  • 2500 litre oil tank
Single skin tanks are a straightforward and cost-effective solution where site conditions allow.
